Everything we do begins and ends with learning.  It is through learning that performance improves, in any context.
 
We provide three key services:
 
1. Performance and Learning Evaluation
 
We have extensive experience evaluating educational programming, corporate training, and performance systems.  We invite projects from organizations that wish to gain insight and objective assessment.
 
2. Public Speaking and Presentations on Performance and Learning
 
We have presented on performance and learning in a variety of contexts, and at an international level.
 
3. The Development of Specialized Learning and Training Curricula
 
We invite projects with client organizations that struggle with improving workplace performance.  Our backgrounds are strong in industries where the workers are highly skilled professionals and we are very comfortable working with individuals or teams at any level of a company.  We are equally comfortable on the line as in the executive boardroom.  We approach all engagements with an emphasis on learning -- our aim is to increase the capacity of professionals to perform in their roles.  Learning is our path to achieve this.
 
Our process, detailed below, shares some characteristics of mentorship, coaching, executive education, and performance management.  The Melete philosophy is to improve performance results by helping individuals and teams understand their goals more clearly and build capacity by improving specific individual or team skills.

Step 1: Diagnosis
 
Every Melete engagement begins with an effort to deeply understand and appreciate the performance gaps or challenges that are being targeted.  In our experience, talking with clients is the only true way to achieve this level of understanding.
 
Step 2: Strategy for Improvement
 
Once we understand the performance gap, we will recommend a strategy for action and improvement.  This strategy may take any number of forms but will focus on real results for the individuals, teams, and organization.
 
Step 3: Implementation
 
We will implement the strategy for improvement.  In most cases this will involve working one-on-one with targeted individuals and groups over a set period of time.  We do not, however, aim to be a consulting firm that always seems to be "hanging around".  We will follow our implementation plan and aim to deliver initial results in a reasonable period of time.
 
Step 4: Review of Results
 
With you, we will review the results of the implementation and mutually determine the level of success.
 
 
The Melete offer is a consulting offer.  We work on a per day basis and will generally make a fixed-price contract offer once we have agreed upon the scope of the project.  In keeping with our results-oriented philosophy, we build into all contracts a clause for final renumeration based on quality of results.
